Continuing education:
Empowering through Performing Arts

Peace-building theatre work – an intercultural and international theatre education programme with two modules.

Based on a trauma-sensitive approach and a reflective examination of power and gender asymmetries.

We initiate sustainable projects that strengthen solidarity and emancipatory processes in conflict-ridden areas.

Performative arts create peace
Theatre work, based on human rights and decolonial reflection, can activate life forces, strengthen self-confidence and community.

The Eurocentric representation of colonial history has strongly influenced us and has a profound effect on the present.

This means that international and intercultural work requires critical reflection on the diverse power and gender inequalities.

Otherwise, inequality and discrimination can neither be recognised nor overcome, even in an artistic project.
